The SEP supports student projects in the field of social innovation and social entrepreneurship at RWTH and FH Aachen University that demonstrate a real social impact. The funding focus is on the downstripping of high tech, i.e. the simplification and application of technologies from the university environment for charitable purposes in Germany, Europe and around the world.
Applications are open until April 13 2022 on the project platform of our partner Santander Universities at this link. Students of RWTH and FH Aachen are eligible to apply.
The SEP includes a total of 100,000 € per year. Individual projects can be funded with up to €12,000. The funding period is up to two semesters and starts at the beginning of each semester. In the past two semesters, 16 projects have already been funded. The winners were Ohemaa Green Housing (SS2021) and the Enactus project Enevra (WS2021).
