Electrical engineer/ Co-founder

Position: Co-founder & electrical engineer - generator for sustainable energy (start-up)

Location: Aachen

Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial electrical engineer to join our start-up as a co-founder. In this dual role, you will not only lead the development of the electronics for our sustainable energy generator, but also play a central role in shaping the overall vision and strategy of the company.

Responsibilities:

1st Co-Founder Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other co-founders to define the overall business strategy and vision.
• Participate in decision-making processes related to funding, market strategy and business development.

2. electronics design:

   • Lead the design and development of the electrical systems for the portable power generator.
   • Create schematics, layouts and specifications for the electronic components.

3. integration of renewable energy sources:

   • Integrate wind, hydro and solar energy technologies into the generator’s electronic systems.
   • Optimize energy conversion and storage mechanisms for maximum efficiency.

4. prototyping and testing:

   • Work with engineering team to create prototypes for testing and validation.
   • Conduct rigorous testing of electronic components and systems to ensure reliability.

5. collaborate with cross-functional teams:

   • Work closely with mechanical engineers, software developers and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electronic systems.

6. research and innovation:

   • Keep abreast of the latest developments in renewable energy technologies.
   • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the generator’s electronic systems through innovation and research.

Requirements:

1st Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. (Students are also welcome)

2. experience:

   • Experience in the design and implementation of electronics for renewable energy systems.
   • Familiarity with portable power generation and energy storage technologies.

3. skills:

   • Proficiency with electronics design and simulation tools.
   • Strong understanding of power electronics and control systems.

4. entrepreneurial spirit:

   • Strong entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for sustainable energy solutions.
   • Willingness to take on leadership responsibilities and drive the success of the company.
