The Collective Incubator was founded in 2017 by students of RWTH Aachen University. Today, there is a student initiative with approximately 40 students from various disciplines, who are primarily responsible for community and event management, public relations and contact with corporate partners. This ensures that the Collective Incubator is closely oriented to the community and its needs.
Since 2022, there is also the RWTH Aachen Collective Incubator GmbH, which is concerned with the sustainable continuation of the Collective Incubator and drives the real estate project development. In addition, it serves as a sparring partner for the student board.
